David J. Dobrusin, CPA, CFP®
David is the Founder and President of Dobrusin Financial, LLC. Prior to founding the company David spent time with the investment firms of RBC Wealth Management and American Express Financial Advisors. As a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Financial Planner™ professional, David brings clients a practical combination of tax planning and financial management. His years of experience in financial services and public accounting afford clients the financial coordination to maximize asset objectives and minimize tax liability under one umbrella.
David attended the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. He graduated with a degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance from the Marshall School of Business as well as a second degree in accounting from the Leventhal School of Accounting.
David dedicates a large amount of time giving back to his community. He has served as a board member and treasurer of the Children in Need Foundation and was a member of the Phoenix Suns Charities. David also served as the treasurer and board member for the Sun Valley Lodge and was a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), as well as the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants.
When David is not serving his clients or giving back to his community, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Mara, and his sons, Benjamin, Matthew, and Zachary.

With over 25 successful years in providing excellent client service in many different entities including The Department of Defense, Hartford Mutual Funds, & Edward Jones, I have enjoyed exceeding my career goals, receiving many awards for accomplishments, as well as being a part of helping clients achieve their financial goals.
At Dobrusin Financial, I have the unique privilege to indulge in my true passion. Providing excellent customer service while being part of a team that is committed to the same values & work ethics. The professional environment at Dobrusin Financial allows our team to provide a great financial service but also a service that stands out with each individual that comes through our door.
In my spare time I enjoy creating family memories exploring, hiking, or volunteering for local charities with my husband, son, & shihtzu.

I enjoy providing excellent service and building quality relationships with our terrific clients. As someone who has worked in a service/advisory capacity for other Wealth Management Firms and Financial Institutions, I have the knowledge and experience to make sure that the right thing always gets done for clients.
I am currently pursuing my CFP designation and hold my series 65 licenses in the state of Arizona and California. As somebody who loves working with individuals and helping them realize their financial goals, being a part of the great team at Dobrusin Financial is something I take great pride in.
When I’m not at the office, you can find me on the golf course, on the trail hiking, or spending time with my golden retriever Birdie.

As a seasoned Certified Public Accountant, I’ve worked in both the public and private arenas. Armed with an accounting degree from Arizona State University (ASU) and over 10 years of hands-on experience, I specialize in providing comprehensive tax services to both businesses and individuals. I love learning what is important to our clients personally and in business.
My focus extends to guiding businesses and individuals through the complexities of tax planning, compliance, and optimization. I truly enjoy delivering tailored solutions that maximize savings, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with ever-evolving tax regulations. With a dual perspective that encompasses both public and private accounting environments, I have navigated a variety of industries, and gained valuable insights into the internal workings of businesses.
When I’m not in the office, I’m usually enjoying time outdoors with my family, crafting, or cheering on the Sun Devils.
